We are excited to announce that our 7th annual motorcycle safety and awareness campaign will be launching on Sunday May 1 at 11:00am. We are continuing with the success of last year's layout and holding the event virtually with help from our friends at Production World. If you are not able to attend on May 1, don't worry as a video of the event will be posted to our YouTube channel at a later time.
We heard from many of you and we also enjoyed the more informal fireside chat feel. So we once again will have a panel of guests to discuss the safe return of motorcycles to Alberta roadways. Our guests include
- Minister Rajan Sawhney, Minister of Transportation, Province of Alberta
- Lanchi Dech, Owner, Too Cool Motorcycle School
- Jon Bullee, President, Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association
- Justin Knapik, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services & Owner, On Track Performance
- Marty Forbes, VP, AMSS
- and more!
Our topics to cover will include our licensing, gear, a take it to the track option, training, tips for sharing the road, the 2021 statistics and some more information about the upcoming inaugural For the Love of Motorcycles event on June 25.
Huge thank you to Production World for their help every year with our campaign launch. They offered up their new, incredible in-house studio as means to hold a large scale zoom event. We can always count on the team at Production World for their amazing work and generosity.
Special thank you to Stingray Radio for helping with a full province reaching digital campaign during these unprecedented times.
Our final thank you goes out with much gratitude to our Minister of Transportation. Without their assistance with a grant through Alberta Transportation, the live event of our launch, our digital campaign and more would not be as easy for us.
